Peal on Saturday 15 November
On Saturday 15 November a full peal will be attempted, starting at 9.30 am.
A peal on Wymondham’s bells takes around three and a quarter hours to complete. A peal requires a minimum of 5,000 different rows or changes, rung non-stop without repetition, visual aids or substitutes. Since 1903 265 peals have been rung at Wymondham, an average of just over two per year.
The ringers on 15 November are all members of the Society of Royal Cumberland Youths, founded in London in 1747
